You have found my online SCA confectioner’s book of secrets.

My name is Baroness Alesone Gray of Cranlegh, OL. This is where I keep all my recipes, class outlines, documentation, experiment successes and epic failures.  I don’t remove old posts. I find that my past projects show growth and often times a starting point for current projects. This is my thought library, the good, the bad and the what was I thinking. You may ask me about anything you find posted here.  If you are looking for my other blog with costuming, food recipes and other random SCA projects it can be found here: alysten.wordpress.org.

  1. Hi. I read through Harrison’s “Description of England” as I said I would. I could find no mention of Grocer’s Guild details. I will keep looking through my other stuff though. When I find the time I will try and get a copy of the London and Augsburg pharmacopoeias copied up for you. Cheers, Mike T.
